Fall

In the FALL we have a great time in a fall festival atmosphere the whole month of October. We have plenty of things for the kids to do, a pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkins (which is great to teach and show your kids how pumpkins actually grow), and Halloween decorations. On the weekends we offer hayrides that go back through the fields, and around through the woods on the weekend. It’s a great experience to be out in nature, and sometimes we’ll see deer, raccoons, or other animals that live on our farm.

Beside the fun things, we have a beautiful selection of Fall Mums for sale. With there bright fall colors they can really add to your landscape or planters. If you want to try something different, buy a pumpkin, carve it, and set the mum inside. Stop in and have a taste of fall with our hot spiced cider, apples, and cold cider. It has truly turned into a fun part of our operation growing more and more each year.

PUMPKIN PATCH OPENS OCTOBER 1ST, 2009

This year has given us a beautiful crop of pumpkins to choose from. We're very excited about this Halloween Season which is now upon us. Plan on bringing your family out to our Pumpkin Patch for a great family outing. Remember that on the weekends we do give hayrides from 12:30 to 5:00 for all of the family to enjoy.

A special and favorite of all the children is our straw maze. We've had children the last few weeks keep peeking into the greenhouse to see if the maze has returned. A word of warning that a few of the children have returned looking like the scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz, but with a smile from ear to ear. At Wardell's it's our time to put a smile on the children's faces. We hope to see you this October!
